Syria’s Idlib records 22 new coronavirus infections

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 22 new cases of coronavirus in northwest Syria.

On its official account on the Internet, the Interim Government said that it recorded 22 cases of the virus, and 14 recoveries.

It indicated that it had conducted tests for 529 suspected cases in Idlib and Aleppo regions.

With the newly announced figures, the total number of infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 21,592, including 638 deaths and 19,608 recoveries.

On Tuesday, areas of northwest Syria recorded 30 new coronavirus cases and ten recoveries.
