ERBIL, Iraq (North Press) – On Saturday, the spokesperson of the Iraqi Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief, Yahya Rasoul, announced the arrest of four Islamic State (ISIS) militants in Baghdad, al-Anbar, and Salah al-Din governorates.
“Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) arrested an ISIS militant, who hid among people in al-Khadra’ neighborhood in Baghdad,” Rasoul said in a statement.
Meanwhile, the CTS arrested two ISIS militants in al-Alam district in Salah al-Din governorate.
Another ISIS militant was arrested in Qada’ Anna, west al-Anbar governorate, according to Rasoul.
On March 8, the Iraqi CTS arrested 6 ISIS members in different governorates of Iraq.
