Syria’s northwest records no coronavirus infections

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, the Syrian Interim Government, a Syrian opposition government based in Turkey and associated with the Syrian National Coalition, recorded no new coronavirus infections in northwest Syria.

The Interim Government announced through spreadsheets on its official website that the number of recent recoveries reached nine and it has tested 223 suspected cases reporting no deaths.

On February 11, the interim Government recorded one coronavirus infection and 21 recoveries.

With the new cases, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-held areas has risen to 21,215, including 637 deaths and about 19,156 recoveries.
