Turkish forces send more reinforcements to Syria’s Idlib

IDLIB, Syria (North Press)- On Saturday, Turkish forces sent new military reinforcements to their observation posts in Idlib in an attempt to enhance their military presence in northwest Syria.

Local sources told North Press that Turkish forces sent a military convoy including 20 military vehicles to Syria through Kafr Lossin border crossing.

“The vehicles headed to the points near the M4 Aleppo-Latakia Highway, south of Idlib,” the sources added.

The Turkish convoy included armored vehicles, trucks carrying ammunition, logistics, and prefabricated rooms, according to the sources.

Turkish military reinforcements come amid the continuation of the military escalation between Turkish-backed armed opposition groups and the Syrian government forces in the southern countryside of Idlib.
