The United Nations has announced on Friday the displacement of more than 400,000 civilians in northwestern Syria, within three months, upon the ongoing escalation campaign in the region, as the Syrian government forces have targeted a Turkish observation post in the countryside of Hama, after a relative calm that prevailed in the region since yesterday midnight.

This comes as the Syrian government forces stationed at Al-Karim checkpoint have targeted the Turkish observation post in Sher-Maghar, western Hama countryside with rocket-propelled grenades, after Thursday midnight.

Furthermore, the Syrian fighter jets also conducted several raids on the town of Sarqeb in the eastern countryside of Idlib, one person was killed and some others were injured, as the shelling hit the towns of Al-Latamina and Morek, in the northern countryside of Hama.

The Russian fighter jets in turn launched airstrikes as well on the villages of Tal Meleh and Al-Jabeen in the northwestern countryside of Hama, while the Syrian government forces shelled areas in northern and northwestern Hama countryside, and axes in the coastal mountains of Latakia governorate with dozens of rocket-propelled grenades.

In a similar context, the southern Aleppo countryside, especially Icarda and al-Nakhil districts, were also hit by the Syrian government fighter jets.
