Bombings in Aleppo and Damascus while warplanes continue their raids on Idlib

Areas under the control of Turkish-backed armed opposition groups undergo a continued series of bombings, while the Russian air raids and the Syrian government forces' ground shelling on the de-escalation zones continue.

One person was injured when an explosive device planted in his car exploded in al-Bab city in eastern Aleppo countryside, according to social media accounts, loyal to the Syrian armed opposition groups.

Furthermore, a member of the Syrian government forces was killed and three others were injured by an explosive device, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

In the eastern Ghouta of Damascus, a loud explosion was heard yesterday evening in the town of Kafr Batna, caused by an explosive device thrown by unknown persons at a checkpoint belonging to the Political Security Branch, around the town. Shortly after the explosion, the operation was adopted by "Saraya Qasiyun", in an official statement on telegram.

On the other hand, the Russian warplanes resumed their raids on the de-escalation zones this morning, after they were absent since yesterday evening, where they launched several raids on the axis of Kabenah, in Mount al-Akrad, areas in Tahtaya, the outskirts of the city of Kafr Nabl, KinSafra, al-Ftera and al-Tah in the southern countryside of Idlib.

While the Syrian government forces shelled with rocket-propelled grenades areas in Marat Harma, Sheikh Mustafa, Kafr Sijna, Tal al-Nar, Arinba, al-Tah, Tahtaya, Um Jalal and al-Heesh vicinity in Idlib southern countryside.

While yesterday evening, an unidentified war-planes struck the village of Kafra, near Azaz, in the northern Aleppo countryside. Also sporadic clashes between the armed opposition groups and Syrian government forces were reported on the fronts of Scientific Researches and Mansoura in the western countryside of Aleppo.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the surrounding towns of Khan al-Assal, KafrNaha and al-Shamiko area west of Aleppo, were subjected to artillery shelling by the Syrian government forces, while yesterday Turkish bases targeted with heavy weapons the village of Maranaz in Shara district of Afrin in northern Aleppo countryside.
