Turkish military patrol opens fire at Kobani civilian protesters

The joint Russian-Turkish patrol was pelted with stones and shoes in a protest by the local people of Kobani, expressing their refusal of the entry of the Turkish armored vehicles into the northern territories of Syria.
The joint patrol between Russian and Turkish forces consisting of 4 Russian and 4 other Turkish vehicles started on Tuesday morning, after the latter entered the Syrian territories in the village of Marj Ismail, in the eastern countryside of Kobani, northern Syria, to be the second patrol to be conducted in this area.
While local people of the village of Ali Shar, east of Kobani intercepted the patrol route and forced it to change its course towards rural roads, instead of the previous route which was previously planned for the patrol.
Meanwhile, the patrol continued its way in the southern countryside of Kobani and headed towards its south-western countryside, to be intercepted by local villagers gathering southern village of Tal Hajeb, while the Turkish patrol in turn, targeted them with live bullets and tear gas, injuring 5 civilians including journalists, some of them were seriously injured as a result of being targeted by the Turkish patrol, in addition to a number of injuries due to the tear gas, according to medical sources in the area.
Activists stated on social media there were footages showing the stoppage of military vehicles of the joint Russian-Turkish patrol, and were intercepted by local civilians of the area, other footages showed the moment the Turkish soldiers targeted the civilians with gun shots, including the injury of a civilian woman.
