Armed opposition with Turkish aerial support targeting civilians in Tal Tamr

Turkish-backed armed opposition groups continue their attacks on Tal Tamr countryside, in Hasakah governorate, with Turkish aerial drones shelling, causing further human casualties. North-Press monitored the targeting of civilians by Turkish-backed armed opposition groups in the countryside of Tal Tamr, which is inhabited by the majority of the Assyrian component.  

Ongoing shelling by Turkish-affiliated groups caused the injury of two young men, while the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Syrian government forces deployed in the area are countering the attacks, in an attempt to prevent their advancement.

The shelling by Turkish drones on the village of Manakh in the countryside of Tal Tamr is still going on, with the continuation of fierce fighting on the ground between the SDF and the Syrian government forces on one side, and the Turkish military and its affiliated armed opposition groups on the other.  

The SDF and the Syrian government forces were able to advance and control the village of Manakh and its hill in the countryside of Tal Tamr.
