Frequent targeting of Aleppo’s western neighborhoods by the armed opposition groups

Rocket shelling renewed targeting civilian neighborhoods in the city of Aleppo on Wednesday night by armed opposition groups stationed west of the city and the area of al-Leramoun. The shelling started at around 9:30 pm and continued sporadically until late at night after 12:00, where several rocket-propelled grenades hit the outskirts of Halab al-Jadida and al-Hamdaniya neighborhoods, in the eastern part of the city.
Five shells hit the neighborhoods of al-Neel Street (the outskirts of the local market), the neighborhood of al-Shahba al-Jadida, al-Khalidiya and the surrounding of Shehan roundabout, amidst a state of panic among civilians. No information regarding casualties were reported.
Moreover, Syrian government forces in Aleppo targeted positions of the armed opposition groups, west of the city, with several heavy artillery shells from the barrack of Tariq bin Ziyad, in the city.
Furthermore, the armed opposition groups stationed on the western outskirts of Aleppo are targeting residential and commercial neighborhoods in the city, causing casualties and damage to civilians' properties, of which the latest was the death of the 6-year-old child, Norshan Otri, on the 10th of November, in Seif al-Dawla neighborhood.
