Turkey targets civilian vehicle on M4 highway
(North Press) – Turkish forces targeted a civilian truck on the M4 highway on Sunday, causing injuries to its driver.
Local sources told North Press that Turkish forces targeted a civilian truck with artillery on Sunday, west of the city of Ein Issa on the M4 highway, injuring the truck’s driver.
Earlier, on the 20th of May, the shelling of Khalidiya and Hoshan villages on the M4 highway north of Raqqa, by Turkish forces and their affiliated armed opposition groups set fields on fire.
On the same day, the villages of Kur Hasan and Kobrlek in the countryside of Tel Abyad were targeted by Turkish forces and opposition groups, which set fire to an agricultural warehouse.
Villages in the vicinity of Ein Issa, Tel Abyad, and Tel Tamr are subjected to daily repeated shelling by Turkish forces and their affiliated armed groups with heavy weapons and shells, in disregard of the United Nations initiative which calls for a humanitarian truce to focus on efforts to confront the risks of the spread of coronavirus.
