A 42-member-family displaced from Ras al-Ain to al-Shaddadi upon Turkish invasion

Following Turkey's military invasion along with its affiliated armed opposition groups, thousands of bordering areas people, especially from Ras al-Ain (Sere-Kaniye) and Tal Abyad (Gre Spi) areas, have been displaced from their homes in search of a safe haven for their children and their lives, leaving behind all their possessions and livelihoods. Some families from the Ras al-Ain have sought refuge in the town of al-Shaddadi, where families live in difficult living conditions, where the majority have escaped Turkish bombardment only with what they wore.
Jasem Muhammad, a displaced person from Ras al-Ain in al-Shaddadi, said that Turkish military and their affiliated armed opposition groups have, indiscriminately, shelled the city of Ras al-Ain with artillery and warplanes. Muhammad said that they were forced to flee to al-Shaddadi in search of a safe haven for him and his 42-member-family, including 15 children, having no mattress nor blanket to protect them from the cold of winter.
Muhammad said that he was receiving news from Ras al-Ain that indicated Turkish-backed armed groups were looting all people's belongings, including electrical appliances and generators, as well as burning the building which contained his house. "Why?" He wondered. "The humanitarian committees come, register our names and number, then go with no return," said Muhammad pointing out that they're going through very difficult living conditions in al-Shaddadi, southern Hasakah governorate.
The stories of displacement are similar. All those who have been forced out of their homes and lands feel bitter, living in harsh conditions. Most of them have never had the idea of leaving their homes, lands and properties to be looted by those armed groups, to end up living in a house that lacks basic means of living, in a situation that is unable to provide a living for their children, a situation only the ones who have been through know how it feels.
Dahham Muhammad, another displaced person from Ras al-Ain in al-Shaddadi, told North-Press that the Turkish military, "have bombed the city with all weapons and committed massacres on the border-line.” Dahham explained that his family lacks all the essentials of life. He also left his house without carrying anything with him, leaving behind everything he owned, stressing that no assistance was provided to them in al-Shaddadi.
Between displacement and temporary stability, a great distance of pain, of whom their hearts are traumatized day after another, while international organizations are still far from this tragedy.
