In light of the Turkish military invasion in northeastern Syria, and the large wave of displacement from the newly attacked areas by the Turkish military and its affiliated armed opposition groups, to other areas of Hasakah governorate. People of the neighboring areas are helping as much as possible to help the IDPs on all aspects of life, even though they are threatened with the same attacks.

Dr. Fawaz Haj Ibrahim, a gynecologist in the city of Qamishli, said he would diagnose and treat displaced women from Ras al-Ain (Sere-Kaniye) and other areas for free for one month, and that would extend for three months if the situation worsens.

Dr. Haji Ibrahim told North-Press: “First of all, I am a doctor and a human being with feelings, it hurts me that civilians have forcibly left their cities and villages due to the Turkish military invasion, as they left without taking anything with them."

He added that people who have been displaced, sleep in the open and schools, and they cannot earn their livelihood, which they lost due to the injustice they suffered, as it's our humanitarian duty to help them with all what we can.

"The patient just needs to tell me that she's from Ras al-Ain (Sere-Kaniye), and I'll help her for free, I will provide all what the patient needs of medical consultations free of charge," he added.
