A member of the Kurdish Red Crescent said that, their convoy was unable to enter Sere Kaniyeh / Ras al-Ain because of the Turkish shelling, and that some of the injured had already died inside the city due to the lack of blood and medical aid.
In a statement to North Press, Director of Tal Tamr Hospital and member of the Kurdish Red Crescent, Dr. Hassan Abdi Amin said that a convoy of the Kurdish Red Crescent tried to reach the city of Sere Kaniyeh / Ras al-Ain since this morning, but they couldn’t, because of the drones which targeted the team.
For its part, the Kurdish Red Crescent published a statement saying, “Our convoy has reached about 10 – 5 km from the city, but we are back and the convoy is still suspended. Also, Free Burma Rangers Organization tried to reach to rescue the injured, but we don’t have any information about them”.
The statement stressed that 38 patients inside the city hospital are waiting to be evacuated, and some of them have already died due to lack of blood and medical aid, saying: “The hospital was partially destroyed, the small medical team inside the hospital is still doing its best to save the lives inside”.
