Australian Foreign Affairs to find a mechanism with NE Syria Administration to Trial ISIS-detainees

The Australian Foreign Affairs Representative John Philip said at a press conference held with the co-chair of the Department of Foreign Relations in Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Abdulkarim Omar, in Qamishli northeastern Syria, that they’ve agreed with the Department of Foreign Relations on “Finding a mechanism for accounting and prosecuting ISIS terrorists, and discussing the details in the future”.
Philipp stated he discussed with the representatives of the Department of Foreign Relations how to alleviate the pressures facing the Autonomous administration, “We appreciate the sacrifices made by the Syrian Democratic Forces to eliminate ISIS”.
At the end of his speech, the representative of the Australian Foreign Affairs stressed the importance of engaging all Syrian parties in the “political process to resolve the Syrian crisis”.
For his part, Abdulkarim Omar stressed on the need to provide support in all areas of service and start the process of reconstruction in the region without neglecting support of political side for The Autonomous administration, “Which is the first front to combat terrorism and extremism, which in turn, would protect the world from its dangers.”
