Breaking: Civilian Casualties in a VBIED Explosion in Qamishli

A VBIED has exploded at Sony Square in the center of the city of Qamishli, northeastern Syria, causing some civilian injuries, while causing damage for some houses.

The explosion occurred at 1 pm by a vehicle, type “Toyota”, was parked in front of the center of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish), and was detonated remotely, according to our correspondent.

While private sources indicated that two people parked a vehicle in front of the center of the security forces, entered the center after registering their names, noting that security cameras could capture their photos.

Initial information indicates the injury of a child and two other persons, while no fatalities confirmed.

The Internal Security Forces made no statements regarding the explosion.
