236 families return from camps in northern Syria to Hama countryside
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – A convoy carrying 236 displaced families left camps in Idlib on Wednesday for their home areas in Hama countryside, Idlib’s Social Affairs Directorate said.
The directorate said the convoy comprised 236 families who had been living in camps in Idlib.
It said the convoy operated under the supervision of the Idlib governorate, in cooperation with the Idlib Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Muzn Organization, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, and the Directorate of Emergency and Disaster Management.
The directorate said voluntary return convoys follow approved plans and coordination with relevant authorities, helping accelerate the return of displaced people who wish to return to their areas safely and securely.
