Israeli media reports U.S. aircraft near Iran airspace signal possible strike
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Israeli media reported on Monday that U.S. military aircraft are flying near Iranian airspace, raising speculation about a potential military strike amid escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran.
Israel’s Channel 14 said the number of U.S. aircraft operating near Iran has increased, with American planes observed flying in its vicinity.
According to the report, several KC-135R aerial refueling aircraft and B-52 strategic bombers took off from Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.
The channel added that, late Sunday, following a signal from the White House, multiple KC-135R refueling planes and B-52 bombers departed from the base southwest of Doha within a short time span.
Earlier, the White House posted a message reading, “God bless our troops, God bless America — and we’re just getting started,” accompanied by a photo of President Donald Trump wearing a cap marked “45–47,” referencing his presidential terms, alongside the slogan “Make America Great Again.”
Separately, a sharp rise in pizza orders near the Pentagon was noted—an indicator tracked by the “Dough Fight” platform to speculate about possible imminent military action.
However, a US official told Politico earlier on Monday that there are currently no major movements of U.S. forces or assets in the Middle East, adding that the window for a presidential decision remains short.
