Turkish forces shell Syria’s Manbij, injure man

MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – Turkish forces and their affiliated armed opposition factions, aka the Syrian National Army (SNA), targeted on Wednesday the countryside of Manbij in northern Syria, injuring one person.

The Manbij Military Council stated that the shelling wounded 17-year-old Mustafa Barakat Hassan.

The Council further stated that the Turkish bombardment primarily targeted the northwestern villages of the Manbij countryside using mortars and artillery. It added that more details would be provided in a subsequent report.

On Nov. 25, Turkish forces launched heavy shelling on eight villages in the northern and western countryside of Manbij.
