Turkish shelling on 23 villages in Aleppo kills person
MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – One person was killed and several others were injured in the past 24 hours due to Turkish shelling that targeted 23 villages in the countryside of Aleppo, northwestern Syria.
The Manbij Military Council, a component of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), announced the death of one of its fighters on Monday, following what it described as “intense” Turkish bombardment of populated villages in the Manbij countryside.
Local news outlets reported that Turkish forces and their affiliated armed opposition factions, aka the Syrian National Army (SNA), shelled villages in Manbij, and Aleppo northern countryside, locally known as Shahba region.
According to these reports, the shelling left one person dead and seven others injured.
