IED Injures 11 Government Soldiers in Central Syria
HOMS, Syria (North Press) – An IED attack targeted a military bus transporting Syrian government forces on Monday, injuring 11 soldiers.
The state-run news agency SANA reported that “eleven soldiers of the Syrian Arab Army were injured on Monday in a terrorist attack targeting a military transport bus on the highway between Homs and Masyaf.”
A local source in Homs Governorate stated to SANA that the attack occurred “on the Homs-Masyaf highway, near the Al Haisa village crossroads.”
On November 19, at least seven members of Iranian-backed militias, including senior leaders, were killed in a double attack by Islamic State (ISIS) militants in the central Syrian Desert.
