ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – Two militants of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS, once known as al-Nusra Front) were killed on Friday in drone strikes targeting their posts in the western countryside of Aleppo in northwestern Syria.
Two HTS militants were killed when their vehicle was struck by a suicide drone in the town the al-Abzimo, northwest of Aleppo. A third individual near the vehicle was also killed in the strike.
In addition, 11 others, including six civilians, were injured in a series of attacks involving eight suicide drones that targeted the frontlines in the towns of Kafr Nouran, al-Abzimo, Tadil, and Darat Izza in western Aleppo.
Meanwhile, the Syrian government forces shelled 19 locations across towns and villages in the western countryside of Hama, Jabal al-Zawiya in south of Idlib, and the western countryside of Aleppo.
An HTS leader said that artillery fire by the government forces also hit sites in the villages of al-Bara, Majdaliya, Ihsim, and Benin in southern Idlib, as well as the village of Kherbet al-Naqus in western Hama.
