NE Syria’s Asayish arrest 2 ISIS members in Deir ez-Zor

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) said on Friday they managed to arrest two members of the Islamic State (ISIS) in Deir ez-Zor Governorate, eastern Syria.

In a statement published on their official website, the Asayish said their Anti-Terrorism Forces (HAT) in cooperation with the U.S.-led Global Coalition forces carried out an operation on Friday in the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

The operation resulted in the arrest of two ISIS members who were involved in assassinations, targeting military forces in the area, and intimidating the civilians, according to the Asayish’s statement.
