Government forces send military reinforcements to Syria’s Suwayda

Suwayda, Syria (North Press) – Syrian government forces sent military reinforcements to Suwayda Governorate, south Syria, for four consecutive days, after local groups had arrested military and government officials.

The reinforcements – the fourth of their kind – included tanks and over 50 vehicles loaded with hundreds of soldiers, according to local social media accounts.

The local groups arrested the government and military officials on April 25 to press the government forces to release a university student who was arrested by the government forces about three months ago.
