QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Monday that a rocket was fired from Syria at Golan Heights, setting off sirens in Yonatan, central Golan Heights.
The rocket fell in an open area and caused no casualties, according to the IDF.
As a response, the IDF shelled the launch site with artillery, according to the source.
On Nov. 11, 2023, the IDF said that two rockets were fired from southern Syria towards the Golan Heights, setting off sirens in Avnei Eitan.
