Israeli bombardment hits vicinity of Damascus
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – An Israeli airstrike targeted on Sunday the vicinity of the town of al-Dimass in west of the Syrian capital, Damascus, amid reports of material and human losses.
Syrian government-affiliated media outlets reported that successive blasts were heard in the vicinity of al-Dimass.
Semi-official al-Watan newspaper stated that initial information indicates that the blasts heard near Damascus and its countryside are a result of an “Israeli aggression.”
On March 29, 52 people were killed and dozens were injured, the majority of whom were militants of Lebanese Hezbollah, due to Israeli airstrikes targeting weapons depots in the countryside of Aleppo.
