Israeli forces hit 2 sites in Syria used by Lebanese Hezbollah

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced late on Tuesday conducting airstrikes on at least two sites of the Lebanese Hezbollah in southern Syria.

Israel’s Channel 13 reported the Israeli forces targeted Syrian army infrastructure from which Hezbollah operated.

The IDF stated that Israeli forces hit more than 4,500 Hezbollah targets, killing more than 300 militants and injuring 750 in the past five months in Lebanon and Syria.

IDF’s statement said that five senior leaders of Hezbollah were among the killed militants.

The IDF said that over the past months, their forces launched strikes against more than 1,200 targets from the air, and another 3,100 sites from the ground.

According to the statement, the targets included weapons warehouses, military facilities used by Hezbollah to launch attacks, more than 150 observation posts along the border, some 70 command centers where militants were gathered, more than 50 significant rocket launching positions, and dozens of squads carrying out anti-tank missile attacks.
