Asayish arrest 2 drug traffickers in Syria’s Raqqa

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Anti-Drug Forces of the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) said on Saturday they arrested two drug dealers and seized large quantities of narcotic substances in Raqqa Governorate, northern Syria.

The Asayish said that they arrested on Feb.6, two drug smugglers in the town of Tabqa west of the city of Raqqa, after receiving reliable information regarding their involvement in the sale of Captagon pills

The Anti-Drug Forces of the Asayish added that they had seized 18,678 Captagon pills.

After conducting interrogations and completing all necessary legal procedures, the drug traffickers were handed over to the concerned authorities for further action, the Asayish added.
