Motorcycle bomb injures 4 people in Syria’s Afrin
AFRIN, Syria (North Press) – Four people, including two children, were injured on Tuesday in a blast of a motorcycle bomb in the city center of Afrin, northwestern Syria.
An eyewitness told North Press that a motorcycle bomb exploded on the Villas Avenue near the Niroz Roundabout in the city center.
The source added that the explosion resulted in the injury of four people, including two children, with varying degrees of severity. They were promptly taken to the nearby al-Shifa Hospital for treatment.
The Afrin region has been under the control of Turkish forces and their affiliated factions of the Syrian National Army (SNA) since March 2018, following a large-scale Turkish military operation dubbed ‘Olive Branch’.
The source further clarified that the city has been witnessing a noticeable increase in explosions amid a state of security chaos.
