War remnants blast in Syria’s Kobani
KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, two explosions of war remnants took place in the city of Kobani in northern Syria without losses.
North Press correspondent said two explosions were heard in the city due to the war remnants but without causing any casualties.
War remnants are spread in Kobani after the attack of the Islamic State (ISIS) on the city in the autumn of 2014. ISIS’ planting of mines has caused the killing of many civilians.
Despite the elimination of ISIS from Kobani in 2015, its remnants have claimed the lives of the civilians and caused material damage to the property amid negligence by the NGOs concerned.
In another context, a military post of the Syrian government forces near the village of Tel Sha’ir, west of Kobani, was hit with mortar shells by the Turkish forces.
A military source told North Press that three mortar shells fell near the post of the government forces without causing any casualties.
