Car explodes in Syria’s Qamishli

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, a car exploded, east of Qamishli, northeastern Syria, after it was most likely targeted by a Turkish drone.

A local source told North Press that a white car was exploded near the village of Buweira in the eastern countryside of Qamishli.

No casualties have been recorded till the moment of preparing the report.

This comes in tandem with calls by the UN to stop the military actions in Syria and provide humanitarian aid for people affected by the earthquake that hit Syria on Feb. 6.

On Feb. 10, UN Human Rights Chief, Volker turk, called for implementing immediate ceasefire in Syria and full respect of human rights and humanitarian law obligations so help can reach everyone.

On Feb. 16, a civilian was killed and another was injured in a Turkish drone attack in the town of Tel Rifaat in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
