Thousands of Syrians Return to hometown from Turkey

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – The administration of the Bab al-Hawa border crossing announced on Sunday that the number of Syrians arriving from earthquake-affected Turkish provinces had increased to 7.543 people.

The administration of Bab al-Hawa said that the number of Syrians who have returned to their country through the crossing, which connects Turkey to Hayat Tahrir al-Sham-controlled (HTS – formerly al-Nusra Front) Idlib, on the fifth day since Turkey relaxed regulations reached 754.

Turkey has eased border-crossing regulations for the holders of the Syrian Temporary Protection Identities (Kimlik) from any of the Turkish quake-stricken provinces.

Syrian refugees fear that they will not be allowed to return by the Turkish authorities who said yesterday that thousands of Syrians had returned to their lands voluntarily.
