Turkish warplanes target areas in Aleppo countryside

ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – Turkish warplanes launched on Sunday airstrikes on the vicinity of villages in the northern countryside of Aleppo Governorate, northern Syria. 

An exclusive source told North Press that the Turkish warplanes launched at 5:30 am two separated airstrikes on the vicinity of the town of Tel Rifaat and Menagh Military Airbase in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

Since November 20, Turkish forces have been carrying out a wide-scale aerial operation against north and northeast Syria, leaving tens of deaths and causing wide-range destruction in facilities and infrastructures.

Yesterday at midnight, the Turkish warplanes targeted the village of Shawargha in the same area.

An hour later, Shawargha, Menagh Military Airbase and the village of Maraanaz were targeted again, according to the source.

No casualties were reported.
