Missile strikes hit vicinity of Aleppo International Airport

ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) Several missiles, likely fired by Israel, targeted on Wednesday evening Aleppo International Airport, landing on military posts affiliated with Iranian-backed militias.

A local source told North Press that an outpost of the Iranian Local Defense Forces was caught on fire as a result of the missile attack.

At nearly 8 pm Israel launched several missiles targeting Aleppo International Airport, state-run SANA news agency cited a military source as saying.

The missile strike caused material damage to the airport, according to the SANA’s source.

On August 25, Israel launched air raids at several sites in the western countryside of Hama, western Syria, targeting ammunitions’ depots affiliated with Iranian-backed militias.

On August 15, Israeli airstrikes targeted military posts of Syrian government forces in Tartus and Rif-Dimashq Governorates, killing three soldiers and wounding three others.
