Israeli shelling of Syria’s south wounds two individuals

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, two individuals were wounded in Israeli shelling of a village north of Quneitra, southwest Syria.

A military source of the Syrian government forces told North Press that an Israeli tank targeted the outskirts of the village of al-Hamidia in the northern countryside of Qunaitra with two shells.

As a result, two individuals were wounded, and they were transferred to a hospital for treatment.

The Israeli shelling, according to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), targeted two individuals, one of whom was undertaking reconnaissance on border area in favor of the Lebanese Hezbollah.

On July 21, three Syrian government soldiers were killed and seven were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the outskirts of Syria’s capital, Damascus.
