3 People Killed in Turkish Drone attack on Syria’s Qamishli

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – At least three people lost their lives in a Turkish drone strike on Wednesday afternoon that targeted a car in the village of Malla Sibat, southwest of Qamishli, northeastern Syria.

Eyewitnesses in the village told North Press that the car was attacked on the route leading to Malla Sibat, near the village of Girbawi, south of the M4 highway.

Two rockets were launched during the attack: the first struck the car and killed its occupants while the second killed a person who tried to approach the vehicle, the sources added.

No official statements have been provided by the authorities of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES).

On Tuesday, four members of the Self-Defense Forces (compulsory recruitment), affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), lost their lives and three others were wounded in a Turkish drone assault, while five others, including two children, were killed in a similar attack on Saturday.
