Turkish bombing of Kobani fuels war: Mazloum Abdi

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – Targeting civilians in Kobani, northern #Syria, by Turkish occupation is an attempt to fuel war, the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazloum Abdi, said on Thursday.

On Wednesday, two civilians were killed and four others were wounded due to a Turkish drone attack against two civilian vehicles in Kobani.

“The Turkish occupation is violating the agreements, at a time when all Syrians are seeking stability,” Abdi tweeted.

The SDF Commander-in-Chief considered “the targeting of civilians in Kobani is an attempt to create chaos, and aims to fuel the war.”

Abdi expressed his condolences to the “martyrs’ families” and called on the guarantor parties to “do their duties”, in reference to the United States and Russia.

In October, 2019, Ankara, Washington and Moscow agreed upon two ceasefire agreements in northeast Syria, after the Turkish forces invaded the cities of Sere Kaniye and Tel Abyad.
