Erdogan covers up his internal failures by attacking northeast Syria: Future Syria Party

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Turkey wants to export its economic collapse abroad by launching attacks on the Autonomous Administration areas in northeast Syria, an official of the Future Syria Party in Qamishli said on Sunday.

“We are determined to eliminate the threats originating from those areas,” Erdogan said on October 11, referring to Tel Rifaat region in Aleppo northern countryside.

“Turkey is now in a very embarrassing situation and has lost all its pressure cards, even the card of the refugees, which it used to put pressure on the European Union,” Thaher Sheikhmous, director of Bureau of Management of the Future Syria Party, told North Press.

“Turkey’s goal is to destabilize our regions,” he added.

Sheikhmous pointed out that “What is happening in the region, including Turkish violations, is met with great international silence, even though there have been some timid statements.”

The areas where the Russian forces are present are bombed by the Turkish forces in full view of the Russian forces. This indicates that Turkey has taken the green light from Russia to launch its attacks, according to the leader.

“The bombardment achieves many goals for Russia. It is a pressure card on the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to obtain other gains without making any effort, and it wants to increase the rift between Turkey and the US,” he noted.

“We, in the Future Syria Party, believe that all of Turkey’s attacks and violations on our regions will not change anything in the reality and will not discourage us.”

The Future Syria Party concluded that all communities of northeast Syria will stand hand in hand against all the practices of Turkey, “We will be able to liberate all occupied areas very soon.”
