Turkish bombardment on Syria’s Hasakah countryside cause displacement
TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, Turkish forces and their affiliated armed opposition factions targeted the countryside of Tel Tamr town, north of Hasakah, northeastern Syria with artillery and mortar shells.
The Turkish forces targeted the villages of al-Dardara and Tel Keifji, north of the town, with a barrage of shells, a source of the Tel Tamr Military Council said.
The bombing resulted in the displacement of the residents of the two villages towards the town of Tel Tamr, and caused material damage to civilian property, the source added.
Days ago, the Turkish forces bombed the village of Tel Keifji, causing damage to the houses of the residents.
Most of the villages located on the contact lines with the Turkish forces in the countryside of the towns of Tel Tamr and Abu Rasin in the countryside of Hasakah, have become empty of residents due to the continuous bombardment.
