Young man found killed in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor countryside
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, some people from the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor found a body of a young man near his place of work.
An eyewitness in Thiban, 50 km east of Deir ez-Zor said, the residents of the town found the young man, Awwad al-Ukla, killed near his workplace in the primitive oil refineries, on the outskirts of the town.
The signs of gunshots in the head were clear, along with signs of torture on the body, the eyewitness told North Press.
According to some residents of the town, al-Ukla did not belong to any political or military group.
The eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor has been witnessing kidnappings and killings, some of which are claimed by the Islamic State (ISIS).
Yesterday, residents of the town of Jdaidat Bakara in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor found a civilian killed by several bullets near his home in the town.
