QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, the Health Board of the Autonomous Administration announced the record of three deaths and 34 new infections with coronavirus in the regions of northeast Syria.
The official Facebook account of the Autonomous Administration cited Dr. Jiwan Mustafa, co-chair of the Health Board, saying that the deaths were two men and a woman from Tabqa.
The infections recorded were eight in Deir ez-Zor, seven in Raqqa, three each in Kobani, Manbij and Shahba region, two each in Hasakah, Qamishli and Tabqa, and ones each in Derik, Girke Lege, Hawl Camp and Newroz Camp.
The Health Board also recorded the recovery of two new cases.
The number of coronavirus infections in northeast Syria has reached 18,281, including 752 deaths and 1,834 recoveries.
