American forces patrol Syria’s Derik

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, American forces conducted a military patrol in the countryside of the city of Derik, in the far northeast of Syria.

Local sources told North Press that the patrol consisted of four armored vehicles without air cover, and has been stopped in the village of Ain Dewar, north of Derik since noon.

Last week, American troops conducted three patrols in Derik countryside, the last of which was on the eleventh of the month.
