21 new coronavirus cases recorded in northwest Syria
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 21 new cases of coronavirus in northwest Syria.
On its official account on the Internet, the Interim Government said, it recorded 21 new cases of the virus and 21 recoveries.
It indicated, it conducted tests for 485 suspected cases in its areas.
With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 22,090 including 655 deaths and 20,099 recoveries.
On May 4, Syria’s northwest areas recorded 23 new coronavirus infections and 17 recoveries.
