14 people die of coronavirus in KRG in one day
ERBIL, Iraq (North Press) – On Monday, the Ministry of Health in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRG) announced the recording of 14 deaths of coronavirus in a single day.
A statement by the ministry said that it conducted 9,229 tests in one day, during which it recorded 1,277 new infections in different regions of Kurdistan distributed as follows: 256 in Erbil, 325 Sulaymaniyah, 606 Dohuk, 14 Halabja, 59 Karmyan and 17 in Raparin.
It also recorded 14 deaths, 2 in Erbil, 3 in Sulaymaniyah, and 9 in Dohuk.
Since the outbreak of the virus in the KRG, the Ministry has announced 140,573 infections, including 118,168 recoveries and 3,890 deaths.
