Turkish drones fly heavily over Ein Issa after a failed Turkish attack

The town of Ein Issa and its surroundings is undergoing an intensive flights of Turkish drones, following a state of calmness prevailed in the area since Saturday evening. North-Press reporter has briefed an intensive flights of a number of Turkish drones, while there are fears of renewed attacks by the Turkish military and Turkish-backed armed opposition groups on the surrounding of the town.

Special sources confirmed to North-Press that the attacking forces have retreated to their positions, from which they began their attack, after failing to install some points in the positions they had attacked, as a result of the violent counterattack carried out by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

The sources added that throughout the attack nearby M4 highway, the armed groups were unable to install points and positions of control, despite the intensive aerial and ground bombardment carried out by the Turkish military.

Meanwhile, North-Press reporter noted that the residents continue to refrain from returning to Ein Issa, out of fears of renewed ground and aerial attacks on the town and its countryside, following a massive displacement wave since yesterday morning, towards areas far from the military operations on M4 highway.

Moreover, a military source confirmed to North-Press on Saturday, that the Turkish-backed armed opposition groups attacked with Turkish aerial and ground support, the town of Ein Issa with heavy weapons in an attempt to "re-enter the camp of Ein Issa".
