North-eastern Syria Administration drops cases against the Kurdish National Council: No obstacle for opening offices

The Autonomous Administration in North and East of Syria has confirmed today that there is no legal obstacle for the Syrian Kurdish National Council in Syria (ENKS) in order to open its organizational and party offices and to carry out its political, media and social activities without the need for any prior security approvals. This came through a statement published by the Interior Ministry of the Autonomous Administration of north-eastern Syria today, where the statement indicated that the administration announced dropping the cases brought before the judiciary against the figures and leaders of the Kurdish National Council residing outside the country and without any exception.  

The Autonomous Administration statement stressed that, "There is no obstacles for the figures and leaders of the Kurdish National Council residing outside the country to move into Rojava and north-eastern Syria in general and to carry out their activities in full freedom, and there will be no legal prosecution for any reason prior to the date of the publication of this statement.”

Regarding the settlement of the file of the prisoners and the disappeared, the statement pointed out that the Autonomous Administration has received a list of ten names submitted by the leadership of the Kurdish National Council in Syria to the general command of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on December 15, where a specialized committee was established to search the facts and investigate in the file.  

The Autonomous Administration of north-eastern Syria indicated that all the results of the committee's work will be shared with the Kurdish National Council and the command of the Syrian Democratic Forces as soon as possible, confirming that the mentioned points in the statement have been in effect since the issuing date of the statement.
