Israeli forces enter western Daraa countryside

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – An Israeli military force entered on Wednesday the western countryside of Daraa Governorate in southern Syria, advancing through the Tal Abu al-Ghithar gate toward Wadi al-Raqad and reaching the Wadi Company position near the village of Jamla.

North Press correspondent in Daraa said the force, consisting of two armored personnel carriers, set up a temporary checkpoint for several minutes before continuing on foot.

According to the correspondent, Israeli soldiers questioned several farmers and livestock herders they encountered near the patrol route. No arrests were reported during the operation.
