QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Israeli forces carried out new military movements and incursions into the countryside of Quneitra governorate on Sunday, advancing into the town of Jbata al-Khashab in the northern countryside and along the al-Hiran–al-Rafid road in the south.
Local sources told North Press that Israeli soldiers deployed in the main square of Jbata al-Khashab during the incursion.
Earlier on Sunday, Israeli forces also advanced along the al-Hiran–al-Rafid road in southern Quneitra countryside.
According to the Syrian state-run Al-Ikhbariya TV, the Israeli forces established a military checkpoint on the road and searched passersby. No arrests were reported.
