QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani arrived in Kuwait on Monday for an official visit, where he met Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled al-Hamad al-Sabah to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across various sectors.
Upon his arrival, al-Shaibani was received by his Kuwaiti counterpart, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah.
According to a statement published by the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs through its official platforms, the two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations in a manner that serves the interests of both countries.
The meeting also addressed the latest regional developments and ongoing efforts aimed at reinforcing security and stability across the region, the ministry said.
The visit comes as Syria continues diplomatic engagement with regional states following a period of renewed political contacts and efforts to expand cooperation with Arab countries.
