According to Reuters, a U.S. official said American forces launched several more strikes on military targets inside Iran to eliminate what were described as emerging threats.
Meanwhile, Iranian state media reported missile attacks on multiple locations across the country.
State media also said U.S. missiles struck a target on Qeshm Island in the strategic Strait of Hormuz, though officials provided no details about the nature of the site or the extent of the damage and casualties.
