Trump warns Iran of massive U.S. response to any assassination attempt

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday said he has ordered the military to prepare for potential strikes against Iran if Tehran attempts to assassinate him, warning of a sweeping military response to any such attack.

In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump said, “1000 Missiles are Locked and Loaded and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran,” with thousands more available if the Iranian government follows through on what he described as threats to assassinate the U.S. president.

“Orders have already been given,” Trump wrote. “The U.S. Military is ready, willing, and able, for a one year period of time, subject to extension, to completely decimate and destroy all areas of Iran.”

His remarks come amid heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran following recent military exchanges and continued concerns over security in the Gulf.

Separately, US media reported that Israel shared intelligence with the United States this week regarding what it described as a new and specific Iranian plot to assassinate Trump.

According to CNN, citing informed sources, U.S. intelligence agencies have been tracking a steady stream of information regarding potential threats against the president. However, the latest Israeli intelligence reportedly included new details pointing to a specific assassination plan.
